NJ Lighthouses – June 26, 2009   Leave a comment

We started out Friday morning, June 26th visiting the Six Flags Wild Safari.  Yes, they have elephants.  I will post pics later.

After our visit to Wild Safari, we only had time to visit 2 lighthouses before finding a hotel and dinner.

The first lighthouse we visited wasy the Barnegat Lighthouse.  It is beautifully maintained and located in a very nice park.  Lots of places for people to just relax and enjoy nature.

The Tuckerton Lighthouse is a replica of the original and there is a replica of an old fishing village behind it.  It was closed when we arrived, but we did take pics and video.

We spent the night in Atlantic City, NJ.
